I am extremely honored to have won the 2024 Karen Edlund Future Nurse Leader Award, and I am so grateful I listened to the friend who asked me to join an NSRH meeting one day after class. Doing so opened up a community of engaged and incredible leaders and rich educational opportunities that have been integral to my education as a nurse midwife.

Centering Health Equity: An Organizational Update

NSRH recently partnered with Dr. Kamryn Lee at Radically Inclusive Consulting Collective to create a guide for our education team that will ground our materials, events and resources in a health equity framework.

Outside of school I serve as a birth and postpartum doula, with the organization Homeland Heart. I feel that my past experiences solely cultivated my desire for nursing, reproductive health justice, and women’s health. Which is why I aspire to become a Certified Nurse-Midwife.
