Frequently Asked Questions
What type of education does NSRH offer? Can I receive CE credits from engaging with NSRH’s courses?
Through the Online Institute, NSRH provides interactive modules, webinars, and discussion guides on a variety of sexual and reproductive health and justice topics. We also offer in-person and virtual education events. Our education addresses gaps left by nursing school curriculum and is not available through other continuing education providers. We are the only nursing-specific organization that addresses nursing care and comprehensive SRH through a justice and health equity framework.
NSRH is accredited through the California Board of Registered Nursing and the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians to provide continuing education (CE) hours. After completing a CE accredited course on the Online Institute you will be prompted to input your nurse license number which will be included on your certificate. You can access all certificates in your “My Account” tab on your Online Institute profile. If you are a nursing student and do not hold a nurse license, you can still receive a certificate of completion.

My certificate did not include my license number, can I fix that?
Yes! Go into your member profile and select “edit”. There will be a field to include your license number. Once this is updated, your CE certificates will have that number automatically included. If you do not have a nurse license number, you can still complete the post-course survey and receive a certificate as proof of completion.
